KeyWord, NOW THE ONLY "PICK" WORD

PROCESSOR AVAILABLE FOR ALL D3 PLATFORMS

November 11, 1997, San Jose, California - WordMark International Corporation has announced the availability of KeyWord for all D3 platforms including Windows NT. WordMark will immediately market the product with all production and support services being directed to WordMark.

KeyWord, a powerful word processor for the Pick community has serviced many applications in the past with Native Pick, AP/Pro, Advanced Pick and many other "Pick" flavors. The full functionality of KeyWord is available for D3 on all UNIX and Windows NT platforms.

Jeffrey Weidler, president and CEO of WordMark comments, "We were happy to oblige Pick Systems request to port KeyWord to their D3 platform." He continues, "KeyWord is now the only "Pick" word processor available in the D3 environment." Jeff adds, "Our research indicates that JET will not be available for D3 and it is imperative that users have the ability to move their custom applications and documents when migrating to D3."

Craig Burbidge, Pick Systems alliance manager comments, "KeyWord offers a clean solution for our VAR’s requiring embedded word processing capabilities for their D3 applications." He continues, "This product is especially key to developers migrating their legacy applications to D3/NT. Many have customers with large installations of character based terminals. KeyWord is the only product we found that delivers word-processing capabilities without requiring a re-investment in graphics capable displays."

Craig Burbidge adds, "For our customers currently using JET, the KeyWord utility to convert JET documents should be a simple solution." He continues, "We have had many requests from the field to provide an alternative to competitive "Pick" word processing products. We look forward to expanding our relationship with WordMark and delivering tools such as KeyWord to extend the value of our VAR’s applications."

KeyWord features include: high-speed text entry and revision; split screen multi-document editing; extensive front-end that increases productivity; full cursor movement anywhere on the screen; block functions; database integration from any Pick data file for simple or complex mail merges; nine levels of search and replace; and many more features such as using fonts on laser printers and interactive spell checking.
